Finally back to the roots and the strengths! Since Origins, I’ve avoided the AC series like Dracula avoids garlic.
For me Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla were just “junk games” that could have gone by any other name, but certainly no Assassins Creed.

AC1 was great at the time, AC2 did everything better and Brotherhood had its own unique charm with the creation of the Brotherhood. Revelations has rounded off the Ezio trilogy well.
AC3 I also liked, especially the parkour interludes in the trees I found great, only I somehow never warmed to the protagonist. But the beginning alone was great.

Black Flag was almost unplayable for me. The setting was dull, the cities were dull and graphically has not done much. That was the first time that no AC feeling arose in me.
AC Unity was graphically a hit. At that time, everything actually worked for me on the Xbox, I never had the big graphic errors. I liked Arno and Elise very much, would have wished me there really more story and influence on the franz. Revolution, which has unfortunately only more rippled in the background.
AC Syndicate was quite ok, have gladly played with the female character, since the stealth element has internalized.
Then came the three said total failures (for me). So as x-any game brand certainly good games, but just no AC.
On Mirage I look forward to like anything else. Almost as then on the first AC. I hope that it meets the expectations
