Are you looking to play Forza Motorsport locally with splitscreen multiplayer? Forza Motorsport is a new generation simulation racing game that aims to provide the ultimate racing experience for car enthusiasts and racing fans around the world. Many people enjoy playing racing games together in split-screen mode, and they may be wondering if Forza Motorsport will offer this feature. Let’s find out if Forza Motorsport will have split-screen gameplay.
Will Forza Motorsport Have Splitscreen Gameplay at Launch?
Unfortunately, Forza Motorsport will not have splitscreen gameplay at launch. During the August 2023 Forza Monthly Broadcast, Chris Esaki, the Creative Director at Turn 10, confirmed that the game would not feature split-screen gameplay when it releases in October. The developers’ primary focus for this release was on the game’s graphics and rendering features, which is why split-screen gameplay and other features like AI racers in multiplayer and spectator mode will be missing.
However, just because the split-screen feature won’t be available at launch doesn’t mean it won’t be added to the game in the future. If there is enough demand from players, Microsoft and Turn 10 might consider including it in a future update. Split-screen gameplay is a fun way to enjoy racing games, especially when playing with friends in the same room. So, players can remain hopeful that the developers will introduce this feature to Forza Motorsport soon.
Forza Motorsport will be released on October 10 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox One via cloud streaming. While you’re here, check out our guides hub for another popular Xbox game, Starfield.
