LEGO Bricktales, an originally released game for consoles, PC, and mobile devices, has been transformed into a virtual and mixed reality experience. The game was officially revealed at the Meta Connect event that started today.
LEGO Bricktales VR takes advantage of the full-color passthrough cameras of the Meta Quest 3 headset to create a mixed reality experience. It was announced that the game will be available on December 7th, 2023, for the Quest 3, Quest 2, and Pro models. However, the augmented reality passthrough feature will only be available on the Quest 3.
Below are some screenshots, the trailer, and the official announcement.

Lego Bricktales | Coming to Meta Quest 3:
Thunderful and ClockStone announced the release of a VR/MR version of LEGO Bricktales, which was unveiled at Meta Connect. The game will be available on December 7th as a launch title for Meta Quest 3. It will also be compatible with Meta Quest 2 and Quest Pro. Pre-orders for LEGO Bricktales are already open and include an exclusive LEGO alien outfit as a bonus.
LEGO Bricktales VR brings beautifully crafted LEGO brick dioramas into your home using mixed reality. It allows you to explore these environments and solve puzzles using the power of Meta Quest 3. The building mechanic from the original game has been adapted to the VR controls of Meta Quest 3, giving you the ability to construct fun builds and save a rundown amusement park.
In LEGO Bricktales, you will journey across 5 different LEGO brick-themed biomes, including jungles, deserts, cities, medieval castles, and tropical islands. Each location offers construction spots with challenges that test your imagination. How you construct your builds and overcome the challenges is up to you!
As you help your grandfather revitalize the amusement park, you will encounter colorful characters, create aesthetic creations, and solve physics-based puzzles using cranes and gyrocopters. The game is developed by the team behind the Bridge Constructor series.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Meta to bring LEGO Bricktales to Meta Quest 3 as a launch title on December 7th,” said Agostino Simonetta, Chief Games Officer at Thunderful. “The detailed dioramas that feature in LEGO Bricktales are perfect for the VR platform and I know LEGO fans are going to love exploring them with the level of immersion that VR offers.”
“ClockStone is incredibly honoured to bring our landmark success LEGO Bricktales to Meta Quest 3 on December 7th, allowing us to introduce the joy of building LEGO to audiences around the world in groundbreaking new ways, including our first foray into mixed-reality”, said ClockStone CEO Michael Schiestl.
