We loved Lies of P and it seems that many outlets shared the sentiment as NEOWIZ released a new accolades trailer for their Belle Époque action title inspired by the story of Pinocchio. In less than 20 days since its release, critics from Niche Gamer, GamingBolt, Game Informer, and more gave the game scores of 9.0 and above. IGN even declared it as “the next best thing”. The studio is not getting complacent with the praise and has already released a patch to fix various issues and fine-tune the game.
The director of the game, Ji Won Choi, issued the following statement in conjunction with the release of the trailer:
“The excitement and gratitude to the fans and media for all the positive support is as strong today as it was when the game reviews and fan feedback first started. Rest assured, we are not done with Lies of P! The first update is already available, but there’s more to come. I can’t wait to share what’s next, so stay tuned!”
Players have already analyzed the game, looking for hints of possible DLC and speculating about what’s next for the world of Krat and the freed puppet from the Grand Convent. If this praise has piqued your interest, the game is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. If you are a Game Pass subscriber, you already have access to the game on Xbox, so there’s no reason not to embark on your journey to save the city of Krat at the call of the blue fairy.
