The cinematic TV spot for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now officially available after initially circulating on Twitter last week and being removed. The spot showcases Peter Parker and Miles Morales battling Venom in Manhattan. Although they are unsure if they can protect their loved ones, they are committed to fighting. Please note that the TV spot may contain spoilers for the first game.
Taking place nine months after Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the sequel reunites Parker with Harry Osborne. However, things take a turn when the Symbiote infects Peter, granting him powerful abilities but also warping his mind. As if that wasn’t enough, Kraven and his hunters have entered New York City, with the intention of hunting Dr. Curt Connors, also known as Lizard.
Aside from having a map approximately twice the size of the first game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 introduces new activities and missions, with the ability to switch between playing as Peter and Miles. The game will launch on October 20th for PS5, and exclusive suit reveals are expected on October 12th. Stay tuned for more information in the coming week.
