The upcoming season of Overwatch 2, called Rise of Darkness, is set to begin on October 10th. While a launch trailer is scheduled to be released on October 4th, a teaser has been shared on Twitter, strongly hinting at a collaboration between Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4. Check out the teaser below.
The teaser reveals some Zomnics from Junkenstein’s Revenge exploring a Halloween-themed version of Blizzard World. Additionally, a character named “Lilith” is briefly shown and confirmed to be Moira in a new skin, which is likely to become available in the in-game store. The teaser suggests the introduction of a new limited-time PvE mode with fresh challenges, although the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge and its sequel, Wrath of the Bride, is also expected.
Season 7: Rise of Darkness will feature a new Premium Battle Pass with a range of new cosmetics, including a Mythic skin for Hanzo. Stay tuned for more details when the launch trailer is unveiled tomorrow.
Overwatch 2 is currently accessible on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
