In Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, which launched a few days ago, you can use a phone number to find a reference that will remind some players of another popular title from CD Project Red.–>
Since the expansion is live, passionate Easter Egg seekers have been on the lookout in the new area Dogtown and have already made a find. In a phone booth there is the possibility to play the theme song from The Witcher 3 if you call the right number.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty: Payphone Easter Eggs
In one of the first missions of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, you will be tasked with making a phone call. To do this, you have to go to a yellow coin phone in the Area Capitán Caliente and dial a number, but there are more numbers to enter – behind the device there are post-its on the wall with various phone numbers on them, nothing else is written. If you want to find a cool Easter Egg, you should enter them sometime.
When you 5745552377 call, V picks up the phone, holds it to his ear and listens to the Main Theme from The Witcher 3. Johnny Silverhand, meanwhile, stands casually leaning against the doorframe next to it, watching. Another number on the wall, namely 6175556277, causes the payphone to play the song “Never Fade Away,” which is Silverhand’s old samurai song. Motivated tappers can choose other numbers that lead to different reactions from the characters.
Also a fun Easter Egg, though rather frustrating for some players, is a special ending that you can reach at the very beginning of the expansion. You accidentally or intentionally let an NPC die in the first mission and end Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty after a few minutes.
