Starfield is an enormous game with 1,000 planets to explore. Although most of these planets are classified as “Barren,” there is something intriguing about landing on a desolate rock and exploring its surroundings. At the beginning of the game, you have the opportunity to fully explore the Sol System, including Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Earth.
Here’s a spoiler-free glimpse of the planetary landscapes you’ll encounter in Starfield. These visuals showcase the state of our homeworld in the year 2330. The footage was captured using the PC version with maximum settings and a GeForce RTX 4090, running at 60 fps. Take a look.

Starfield takes role-playing to the next level by offering more than just the choice between being ‘good’ or ‘bad’ and joining various factions. The game features a detailed skill tree with a wide range of game-changing abilities that feel meaningful and useful across social, exploration, creation, and combat aspects.
Furthermore, there is a great deal of diversity in the main story, side quests, and faction questlines, allowing players to spend hours simply exploring barren and sparse planets like a true frontier. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of Starfield, from its lore to the exploration of humanity’s fate and its colonies in the year 2330 – a true science fiction paradise.
