Wizard Sendri is back, leading you into a realm of ice and darkness.
If you’re a fan of complex, large and above all good role-playing games, you certainly have your hands full at the moment. But if you still have some time left after Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield, you can reserve some time for yourself.
Owlcat Games just announced another DLC for their brilliant role-playing game Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The expansion has been named Lord of Nothing and follows the events of Through the Ashes. The DLC will be released on November 21, 2023.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous reveals its penultimate DLC in trailer.
This is what is in Lord of Nothing
Lord of Nothing will be the first DLC that basically builds on another DLC.
This is a different group of heroes than in the main game, who also fight against the demons, but whose main goal is their own survival. This is because the group of heroes from Through the Ashes has to do without the legendary paths from the main game and also has a lower level overall.
Besides, you’ll create most of the companions yourself, except for the companions Sendri and Rekarth. The former is also the starting point for the story of Lord of Nothing, which takes you to a new area. The new area is mainly characterized by ice and darkness. In the course of it you will even come across your own character, the commander of the fifth crusade.
Other new features of the DLC include:
- The exploration of a magic tower and the shadow plane
- A new companion called Penta, being an android.
- Lots of new enemy types that you’ll have to fight off.
- A whole 15 new archetypes, including new spells and abilities.
Are you looking forward to the new DLC? What do you like best about the new features? Have you played Through the Ashes and want to continue your journey, or are you starting from scratch? Have you even been able to enjoy the main game yet, or is that still on your list? And do you currently find time for it at all? We’d love to read your answers in the comments!
